FAQ's

Questions happen. Here are just a few of my most asked questions. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions that are not covered here. 

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?

Turnaround time for most sessions is 14 business days. Please keep in mind Newborn, Weddings, and Special Events may have longer processing time.

CAN WE SELECT THE IMAGES THAT WE WANT?

With so many images being captured during your session there are bound to be photo's where someone is not looking or eyes are closed, etc. It is my job as your Photographer to put all the images through a selection process and choose only the very best images to deliver to you. I encourage all clients to please let me know ahead of time if you have a special image request to ensure it ends up in your final gallery. RAW or unedited files will not be delivered or sold as they are not a representation of my final work.

HOW WILL WE RECIVE OUR IMAGES?

Each session includes a custom, password protected online gallery for you to view, share, and download your images. Each gallery link is emailed within 14 business days of your session or per the timing noted in your contract.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

There are no hidden fees ever. All pricing is given up front prior to you signing your contract so there won't be any surprises. The only additional fee a session may be subject to is a travel fee for any location further than 15 miles from 94945.

DO YOU HAVE LOCATIONS YOU CAN RECOMMEND?

Absolutely! I have several locations throughout Marin, Sonoma, and San Francisco that I can recommend. Once your session is booked we will schedule a time to talk about potential locations a choose one that fits your style.

CAN WE BRING OUR PET?

Pets are always welcome so long as the locations we will be working in allows them.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR AN OUTDOOR SESSION?

Timing of outdoor sessions relies heavily on the seasons. I always recommend sessions take place in the early morning between sunrise and 9am or in the evening hours around sunset. This will allow for the most flattering light. With that being said, cloudy overcast days allow for sessions to take place anytime. As your session day approaches we will take a look at the weather and determine the best time that is both convenient for your family and that will produce the best quality images.

DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?

Occasionally I will offer mini sessions. These usually happen around the holidays and in the Spring. If you are interested in a mini session please make sure to join the mailing list so you don't miss out!

DO YOU OFFER WARDROBE ASSISTANCE?

Yes! I strongly believe what you wear can make or break your session. I work with my clients to help select a color pallet and bring together cohesive outfits that will help make your images timeless. Once you have booked your session you will receive a welcome guide with more information about styling and color pallets.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?

While I do offer professional prints, I also include a print release for you to print your images anywhere you choose. Prints ordered through me are printed in a professional studio and are guaranteed to be the highest quality. If you would like to print on your own, I have a list of recommended facilities that clients have had great success with in the past.
